Classified Session on IED Defeat

The Classified Session on Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Defeat will be held at the Shades of Green® Resort on Monday, August 24, 2009, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Both government and commercial briefings will be presented with topics focused on operations, testing and technology.

Registration costs $100 and includes: continental breakfast, morning break, working boxed lunch and round-trip transportation from the JW Marriott® to Shades of Green® Resort.  Register online for the Classified Session after you register for the UXO/Countermine/Range Forum™ 2009.  Attendees must be US citizens with valid security clearance (secret level).  The deadline for UK, Australian, or Canadian citizens to submit security clearance was July 1, 2009.

This year government and commercial classified abstracts will be presented during the Classified Session.   Classified abstract submission will be by invitation only.

A valid photo ID - such as a driver's license or government-issued photo ID - must be presented for inspection and verification prior to boarding the bus.  Backpacks, briefcases, cell phones, PDA devices, and cameras are not permitted at the Classified Session and will not be allowed on the bus.

Cancellations for the Classified Session on IED Defeat are accepted with advance notice.  If you need to cancel, please send written notification to Impact Associates by fax at 865.379.7094, or by e-mail at service@theforum2009.com.

  • Full refund, less $25 handling fee, with written notice received by August 7, 2009, at 5 p.m. ET.
  • No refund will be made after 5 p.m. on August 7, 2009, or later.
  • Any US citizens without approved security clearance by August 7, 2009, or UK, Australian, or Canadian citizens without approved security clearance by July 1, 2009 will not be permitted to board the bus or attend the classified session.
